SPB TV and Velcom have launched a new mobile TV service called Voka. SPB TV's end-to-end solution for video content delivery has become a foundation of new mobile TV in Belarus. It combines the infrastructure for TV and on-demand content delivery including content management system, authentication, access protection and client software.

With a presence on the Belarusian telecommunication market since April 1999, the Velcom operator provides telecom services under the brands Velcom and PRIVET using GSM (GPRS, EDGE), UMTS (HSDPA, HSUPA), Dual-Carrier HSDPA, as well as its own fiber-optic network. Since November 2007, Velcom has become a part of the Telekom Austria Group holding, one of the leading telecommunication providers in Central and Eastern Europe.

Developed exclusively for Velcom by SPB TV, Voka is a mobile TV application designed for the most popular mobile operating systems. The application uses the latest mobile TV developments that ensure its high efficiency and functionality.

Voka presents popular Belarusian and international TV channels and more than 500 famous movies on Android, iOS and Windows Phone mobile devices. App users can enjoy two channel packages: voka TV for 3,000 BYR per day, and voka Video for 1,860 BYR per day. Voka TV’s package delivers more than 50 channels, and voka Video's catalog is constantly being expanded. New viewers of voka are granted one free month of usage.

The application can be used either on the Velcom mobile network or simply through Wi-Fi. Internet traffic is free for subscribers who watch Voka mobile TV via the Velcom mobile network.
