SPBTV signed an agreement with Uzbekistan's National Television and Radio Company (NTRC), the national state-owned TV- and radio-broadcasting network of the Republic of Uzbekistan, to create a multi-screen OTT TV service for broadcasting the company's content.
The official ceremony of ComNews Awards 2020: Digital Technologies Against COVID-19 was held in Moscow on November 20. This year, the awards went to those Russian IT projects that helped various social spheres (healthcare, education, finance etc.) function during the pandemic. SPB TV and Roskino became winners in the Best Digital Solution in Entertainment (TV and Media) category – as a recognition for the companies’ development of a platform for holding an international online content market. Roskino was the organizer of this forum, while the technological solution was provided by SPB TV professionals.
On 22 May, the Russian animated series Nick the Inventor premiered in China. The first 26 episodes of the new series about young inventor Nick and his loyal robots were shown, in Chinese, on the Mango TV platform. The SPB TV company was the operator for this transaction.
On the 1st of January, the Russian animated series “Moonzy and his friends” produced by Melnitsa animation studio and TV Channel Russia One were launched on the CCTV Children’s Channel, owned by CCTV, the main public television network in Mainland China. The deal was operated with support of SPB TV.
On January 27, 2020, E Terra Media holding and its technology partner SPB TV have jointly launched (in a test mode) E Terra Journal, a unique service for fans of eSports and video game industry.
