SPB TV and Tattelecom announces the launch of mobile TV service
St. Petersburg, Russia, December 9, 2013 - SPB TV, one of the world's leading providers of end-to-end OTT TV, IP TV and mobile TV solutions for video content delivery to multi-screen devices, in partnership with Tattelecom, the biggest fixed-line network operator in the Republic of Tatarstan, has launched the Letai TV mobile television project. This service provides users with the opportunity to watch their favorite TV channels on mobile devices.

At present, all Android users can download the application for free from Google Play. In the near future, iOS applications for iPhones and iPads will be released. Currently, there are 19 channels available to users, including TV channels produced in the Republic of Tatarstan - TNV, Maidan, TMTV, iTV. New channels are constantly being added, and TV channels produced by local television broadcasting company Efir will soon be added. Additional TV channels and services will be made available to subscribers with its commercial launch, which scheduled for early 2014. Prior to the launch, a billing system will be integrated and clients for various other operating systems will be introduced along with further changes. SPB TV specialists installed the necessary equipment in Tatarstan to ensure the provision of high quality of video from the Tattelecom Company to the screens of mobile devices.
