KEY BUYERS EVENT, an international online market of audiovisual content, will take place June 8 - 10, 2021. The event is organized by ROSKINO and supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development of the City of Moscow, and the Creative Industries Agency. The program includes 5 days of screenings and 6 days of online meetings.
About 500 international participants (including foreign journalists) from more than 66 countries have already confirmed their participation, which beats the last year's attendance by 35%. The registration of international participants will go on until the last day of the event.

The business program of the online market is a busy one and includes a demonstration of Russian films, TV series and animation movies, meetings of participants on a special online platform, co-production pitchings (presentation of projects to partners), as well as panel sessions: 17 events, including panel discussions that feature foreign speakers, as well as presentations and interviews with key speakers. Over a hundred Russian companies will present about 400 projects (films, TV series and animation movies) to international distributors and producers. More than 50 international projects are expected to premiere at the market.

Compared to 2020, the number of projects presented by Russian companies has increased: last year we had about 350 projects, now we have more than 400. The number of premieres has increased, too: this year we expect to see 50 premieres, while last year there were 34. Moreover, the market is growing not only quantitatively, but also qualitatively: the number of participants and projects (including the premiering ones) is growing, and we have expanded the business program, increased the number of panel sessions and new sections – i.e., the market has become a full-fledged business platform and a platform for mutually beneficial dialogue."
