SPB TV and velcom to release a new service - voka

Minsk, October 6, 2014 - SPB TV, one of the world's leading providers of end-to-end, IPTV and mobile TV solutions for video content delivery to multi-screen devices, in partnership with velcom, one of Belarus' largest telecommunication providers, has announced the release of a new mobile TV service.

During the launch phase two channel packages will be available to the users - voka TV, consisting of nearly 20 channels, including channels in Belarusian (the number of  channels will be increased twofold in the future), and voka video with numerous videos on demand. The service will be available on the territory of Belarus to all the velcom's subscribers (except for Privet subscribers).

The voka service will be available at first on the Android operating system. In future, developers intend to implement support for iOS and Windows Phone operating systems.
"The Belarusian market is one of our business priorities. We offer a service that provides a number of local, Russian and worldwide TV channels with a high quality signal, which as a result provides opportunities for choice," said Kirill Filippov, SPB TV's general director.
