SPB TV at IBC 2016

Amsterdam, Semptember, 2016 - SPB TV AG, a leading global provider of end-to-end OTT TV, IPTV and mobile TV solutions will showcase SPB TV Astra for fast, high-quality processing of linear TV and VOD. It also plans to demonstrate its ultimate OTT TV platform - SPB TV Rosing - and a technology for personal TV viewing on big screens - SPB TV Home - at IBC 2016, which takes place from September 9 to September 13 in Amsterdam.

At this year's IBC, SPB TV AG will feature its new professional solution for fast, high quality processing of linear TV broadcasts and on-demand video streams, which handles video and audio decoding, volume control, encoding, packaging and DRM encryption. Moreover, SPB TV Astra optimizes the traffic for Video 360 delivery, ensures the highest video resolution for the viewer, and transcodes up to 100 HD channels per 2U server consuming only 1.1 kW of power.
Exhibition visitors will get an opportunity to see SPB TV Rosing in action - a new ultimate OTT TV platform with a professional UI and a complete package of middleware tools and features. Besides that, they can test the SPB TV Home solution, which brings personalized TV viewing experiences and extended home connectivity to any large screen, with or without set-top boxes and includes an exclusively designed Bluetooth LE enabled remote.

SPB TV AG will also showcase its SPB TV Ad Expert, a breakthrough solution that bridges OTT TV providers with advertisers and brands with a transparent tracking system of in-stream TV commercials. Ad Expert monitors the amount of ad impressions in linear TV streams. Now, advertisers and brands can know exactly how many times each commercial was shown and how many people saw it via OTT.
