SPB TV has won a national Bolshaya Tsifra award in the OTT broadcasting Platforms category

Moscow, Russia, Jan. 30, 2014 – SPB TV won a national Bolshaya Tsifra award in the OTT broadcasting Platforms category. The awards ceremony took place in Crocus City Hall.
Bolshaya Tsifra are the first Russian awards in the sphere of multichannel digital television and  2014 saw it take place for fifth time as part of the CSTB exhibition.
The awards unite key market players and provide support for the federal

Development of Broadcasting in 2009-2015 program. This year 150 nominees competed in the awards. SPB TV’s OTT platform was acknowledged to be the best as a result of the professional jury’s vote.
SPB TV’s technological solution for OTT TV consists of a platform for video broadcasting using any internet connection, a user interface and middleware components. This solution has become the basis of popular video services Amediateka and Nash football GO!. The services are available through any mobile devices as well as through computers and TV sets that support an internet connection.
