Kirill Philippov is a co-founder of SPB TV who has been serving as the company CEO since 2007.
Kirill has over 20 years of strategic development and management experience in finance, broadcasting and telecommunication business. He has worked for UK, Canadian, Russian, and Swiss companies.
Kirill holds a PhD degree in Physics and Mathematics (with a thesis on Mathematical Cybernetics) from St. Petersburg State University.
Sebastian-Justus Schmidt co-founded SPB TV together with CEO Kirill Philippov. As a shareholder, he was responsible for corporate development and has been overseeing the company expansion into South-East Asia, Middle East and other BRICS countries for some time. Sebastian was also the head of CNX Creative Ltd., part of SPB TV Group, in Chiang Mai, serving as the Managing Director.
Sebastian has an extensive experience in IT management, having held leading positions at European broadcasting, video and picture compression companies. Prior to SPB TV, Sebastian has also been CEO at SPB Software for almost a decade. Until 2013 he held the post of Executive Vice President at Yandex. Before that he had occupied C-level positions at media software companies in Germany. Sebastian is the founding member of the DVDA, Germany, and joined the DVD-Forum, Japan, in 2007. He worked with the Chamber of Commerce in Hamburg and contributed to several IT organizations, including Bitkom, Germany.
