ETV is the channel of the holding company E-Terra. It is the only channel in Russia and the CIS countries about the gaming industry and e-sports. The channel creates unique content about video games and e-sports, covers significant events and runs live broadcasts of popular tournaments.

The channel’s performance is very high: more than 22 million viewers, of which more than 1.6 million are regular viewers, the average viewing time of the channel is 43 minutes. At the same time, the share of in-house content is 80%.

In 2019 E-Terra decided to create a separate OTT service using the flexible platform SPB TV Rosing, and combine the content of the E-Terra Journal portal and the ETV channel into a single functional service.

The result of this collaboration is a fundamentally new e-sports project: a thematic channel, a blog, broadcasts of tournaments and video recordings of competitions on one screen. The E-Terra Journal takes into account the capabilities, age and needs of the ETV channel viewers and follows modern trends in e-sports and media.


The main goal of the project is the development of the e-sports industry and the search for new points of contact with the audience.

SPB TV created convenient functional applications for any mobile device: smartphone, tablet, computer. In addition, for the first time in the e-sports industry, the application for the thematic service runs on smart TV.

The user of the service can create personal profile, collection of favourite materials, use the catch-up, time-shift and EPG functions. User interaction and content management are provided by convenient and simple CMS and CRM systems. Also, service managers can monitor channel performance in real time using analytical systems.
